The layout, location, construction span and height of this building ideally allowed me to change its use from an unprofitable aluminum factory to a modern shopping center. In the concrete shell left behind, I have designed a floor supported by an independent structure. The internal openings and arcades around create a gallery. The remaining original arrangement of concrete trusses recalls the original industrial character. Some floors and ceilings finished in wood perfectly contrast with the concrete. A total of 250 stores, including 4 big box retailers. The layout of stores, lighting, views between floors, shopper flow, above all, all technical infrastructure requires the input of knowledge from a huge number of specialists.
