NORBLIN

The Norblin Factory was one of the largest Polish metal enterprises. Know mainly for the production os silver-plated items, it was nationalized by the government after the war.The portion of Norblin’s buildings on Palisadowa Street was built in 1976 in a design typical for those years, unimaginative structures, the same as those built all over Poland . Their signature feature is the repetitive construction, central corridor systems and characteristic facades filled with tempered colored glass and corrugated metal strips. Norblin’s buildings are gradually being rebuilt and restructured and their former production and office space is currently rented.
